So, the third day we were finally down to surf. We stared the day out with breakfast at this dope little spot in Tamarindo with the best coffee & breakfast sandwiches in town! We didn't want anything too heavy so this was perfect.. Be sure to check out our full review of La Bodega.

We then headed down to Iguana Surf School across the street from Tamarindo Beach. Highly recommend these guys. We were the only ones in the group lesson so we ended up getting private lessons at group lesson rates.

Dude, they were so patient and I caught some waves. They weren't huge but I was able to stand up and catch a few. We bought the photos from the cool native girl in the dreads. She really made us look like we knew what we were doing. lol

I ended up purchasing a rash guard after as a souvenier. I have to buy one every time we go surfing on vacay now.
